Dory begins to remember her family and heads out on a journey to find them in the new trailer for Finding Dory, the sequel to Pixar’s Finding Nemo. Finding Nemo won the Academy Award in 2004 for Best Animated Feature and Disney’s hoping fans of the fish-friendly animated film are still interested in Nemo and Dory after a dozen years. Finding Nemo stands as the fifth highest grossing animated feature film in history and, according to Pixar, Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) is the most liked character from the film. Finding Nemo is also the third highest grossing G-rated movie of all time, behind only 1994’s The Lion King and 2010’s Toy Story 3.

Directed by Finding Nemo‘s Andrew Stanton, the voice cast includes Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Eugene Levy, and Diane Keaton. Finding Dory is set to open in theaters on June 17, 2016.

The Plot: Disney•Pixar’s Finding Dory reunites everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang, Dory, with her friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past. What can she remember? Who are her parents? And where did she learn to speak Whale?
