Keanu Reeves stars as an angel who strives to do his best but isn’t particularly skilled at his job in the teaser trailer for Lionsgate’s Good Fortune. Aziz Ansari pulls triple duty—acting, directing, and writing—in his feature filmmaking debut.
The cast also includes Seth Rogen, Keke Palmer, and Sandra Oh. Ansari, Anthony Katagas, and Alan Yang produce, with Aniz Adam Ansari, Jonathan McCoy, Christopher Woodrow, and Connor DiGregorio executive producing.
Lionsgate released this very basic description of the comedy: “In Good Fortune, a well-meaning but rather inept angel named Gabriel (Reeves) meddles in the lives of a struggling gig worker (Ansari) and a wealthy venture capitalist (Rogen).”
Good Fortune will open in theaters on October 17, 2025.
