Magnet Releasing’s just unveiled the new poster for the hockey comedy, Goon, starring Seann William Scott, Jay Baruchel, Alison Pill and Liev Schreiber. Set for release on-demand February 24, 2012 followed by a theatrical run on March 30th, Goon was written by Baruchel and Evan Goldberg (Superbad, Pineapple Express). Goon is based on the book Goon: The True Story of an Unlikely Journey into Minor League Hockey.
The Plot:
Labeled an outcast by his brainy family, a bouncer overcomes long odds to lead a team of under performing misfits to semi-pro hockey glory, beating the crap out of everything that stands in his way.
