‘It Lives Inside’ Trailer #2 Delivers the Chills

Neon’s second trailer for It Lives Inside is incredibly creepy without being too spoiler-ish. Written and directed by Bishal Dutta, the PG-13 horror film is a unique twist on a demonic possession story.

It Lives Inside emerged as an image: a kid on a bike, riding through Rockwellian suburbs. It’s right out of an early Amblin film. But what if this kid was escaping a puja, her school outfit wrapped in an ornate dupatta? For me, that image spoke to the duality I felt growing up as a first-generation immigrant in America. ‘Where do I belong? Which country is my home? Which world is ultimately mine?'” explained Dutta.

The cast includes Megan Suri, Neeru Bajwa, Mohana Krishnan, Vik Sahay, Gage Marsh, Beatrice Kitsos, and Betty Gabriel.

Get Out‘s Raymond Mansfield and Sean McKittrick served as producers. Edward H. Hamm Jr, Jameson Parker, Arielle Boisvert, and Shawn Williamson executive produce. Dutta’s behind-the-scenes team includes director of photography Matthew Lynn, production designer Tyler Harron, editor Jack Price, and costume designer Odessa Bennett.

It Lives Inside is set to open in theaters on September 22, 2023.
