Sturgess plays six different characters – including a soccer fan who helps attack an evil nurse – in the complicated film, and in support of its October 26, 2012 release, he talked about working on the ambitious project.
In this video courtesy of Warner Bros Pictures, Sturgess discussed the make-up process and how it helped him get into the many characters. He also chatted about the appeal of Cloud Atlas, working with the Wachowskis, his character’s journey, seeing Tom Hanks in full make-up, and what the story actually means.
