Exclusive Interview with ‘Horns’ Writer Joe Hill

Poster for 'Horns' starring Daniel Radcliffe

When I was introduced to Horns author Joe Hill, he gave me an incredible new nickname. Because my name is pronounced Tope-elle, he misheard it through the Comic-Con crowd noise as “Fred From Hell.” I thought he was joking because he’d written a horror novel, but it was the Comic-Con noise.

Horns is a movie starring Danielle Radcliffe as Ig Perrish, a man accused of murdering his girlfriend (Juno Temple). One day he sprouts horns from his head and finds that people start confessing their darkest secrets to him. He also has the power to make people follow their worst instincts, which he uses to solve the mystery, and sometimes just to have fun. Horns is directed by Alexandre Aja, who we also interviewed at Comic-Con. Horns opens October 31, 2014.
