Filmmaker Osgood Perkins has been incredibly busy, releasing Longlegs with Nicolas Cage in July 2024 and The Monkey starring Theo James in February 2025. And in November 2025, Neon’s releasing Perkins’ Keeper which just unveiled a teaser with a dark vibe but limited details on what’s in store.
So, read the logline for Keeper and then watch the teaser trailer again: “During an anniversary getaway at a remote cabin, a wife (Tatiana Maslany, Orphan Black) is left alone after her husband (Rossif Sutherland, Murder in a Small Town) departs, only to confront a sinister presence that exposes the cabin’s chilling past.”
Nick Lepard wrote the screenplay, and Chris Ferguson and Jesse Savath of Oddfellows serve as producers. Executive producers include Tatiana Maslany, Marlaina Mah, Noah Segal, Laurie May, Brian Kavanaugh Jones, Fred Berger, Peter Micelli, John Hegeman, Vince Totino, and Bonner Bellew.
Keeper will open in theaters on November 14, 2025.
The teaser was released just days before Neon hosts a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con. “The Next Wave of Horror: Neon’s Together, Shelby Oaks, and Keeper” will take place on Friday, July 25th at 2:30pm in Ballroom 20 of the San Diego Convention Center.
