First Look: ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ Trailer

Kingsman The Secret Service Trailer

Colin Firth (yes, Firth not Farrell) kicks some serious butt in the action-thriller Kingsman: The Secret Service directed by Kick-Ass helmer Matthew Vaughn and now showing off the first-look trailer. The trailer doesn’t show Firth in action, but a preview clip 20th Century Fox presented at this year’s CinemaCon certainly did. Firth took down a room full of baddies, and looked impeccably well groomed while doing so.

Director Vaughn also adapted – with co-writer Jane Goldman – the Mark Millar & Dave Gibbons comic book for the screen. In addition to Firth, the Kingsman cast includes Michael Caine, Taron Egerton, and Samuel L. Jackson. 20th Century Fox is releasing Kingsman: The Secret Service in theaters on October 24, 2014.

The Plot:

Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men First Class), Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
