‘Lilo & Stitch’ Trailer: Family Means Nobody Gets Left Behind

Disney’s Lilo & Stitch trailer shows the weird creature drinking a lava lamp, surfing, posing as a dog, and generally wreaking havoc on his new human best friend’s life. The two-minute trailer also includes the animated film’s most famous line, “Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.”

The live-action adaptation of Disney’s 2002 animated blockbuster stars Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Maia Kealoha, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis. Chris Sanders returns to voice Stitch.

Lilo & Stitch is the wildly funny and touching story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and the fugitive alien who helps to mend her broken family,” reads Disney’s super short description.

Dean Fleischer Camp (Marcel the Shell with Shoes On) directs from a screenplay by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright and Mike Van Waes. Jonathan Eirich and Dan Lin serve as producers. Tom Peitzman, Ryan Halprin, Louie Provost, and Thomas Schumacher are executive producers.

Disney has set a May 23, 2025 theatrical release.
