The initial trailer was all about the action and kind of reminded us of Will Smith’s Wild Wild West. However, this new The Lone Ranger trailer shifts the spotlight to the film’s stars – Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer.
The new clip shows how the Lone Ranger (Hammer) and Tonto (Depp) met and sets up the relationship between the two characters. It also features Hammer as the Lone Ranger donning the iconic mask.
The Plot:

Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice–taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.
