‘Luck’ Trailer: Meet the World’s Unluckiest Person

A woman with the world’s worst luck stumbles upon a lucky penny, loses it, and lands in the actual world of Luck in Apple Original Films’ Luck. The new trailer for the animated comedy shows Sam flushing the penny and then following it into a weird land that humans aren’t supposed to be aware exists.

The animated comedy’s voice cast includes Simon Pegg as Bob the Cat, Jane Fonda as The Dragon, Whoopi Goldberg as The Captain, Eva Noblezada as Sam, John Ratzenberger as Rootie, and Adelynn Spoon as Hazel. Flula Borg voices Jeff, a very mustaschy unicorn hallo; Lil Rel Howery voices Marvin, the positive shop keeper; and Colin O’Donoghue voices the lovable leprechaun, Gerry, in the family-friendly comedy.

Emmy Award-winner Peggy Holmes (The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning) directs from a screenplay by Kiel Murray (Raya and the Last Dragon). Skydance Animation’s John Lasseter, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and David Eisenmann produce.

Apple TV+ has set an August 5, 2022 premiere date.
