13 year old Nathan Gamble had to audition with the star of Dolphin Tale before director Charles Martin Smith would hire him on to the family-friendly film. Fortunately for Gamble, he and Winter the dolphin hit it off right away. And in this video interview courtesy of Warner Bros Pictures, Gamble talks about the film’s dolphin star as well as his character and the movie’s message.
The Plot: Dolphin Tale is inspired by the remarkable true story of a courageous dolphin named Winter and the compassionate people who banded together to save her life. The comedy/drama will open in theaters on September 23, 2011.
