Hulu’s Never Change! takes adults back to high school, and the trailer shows the results are about what you’d expect. It’s a high school comedy, but definitely not a coming-of-age story, as adults are sent back to finish up their unfinished senior year.
The comedy stars John Reynolds (Yellowjackets), Sofia Black-D’Elia (Single Drunk Female), Carmen Christopher (English Teacher), Jo Firestone (writer, After Midnight), and Gary Richardson (The Chair Company). Rudy Pankow, Topher Grace, Jackie Cruz, Ana Gasteyer, Patti Harrison, Zach Cherry, and Maria Thayer fill out the ensemble.
“In 2008 the graduating class of North Meadows High School had their senior year cut short due to a disastrous tornado,” reads Hulu’s synopsis. “Now in their mid-30s, they’re being forced to return home and finish high school once and for all. Old flames, second chances—this is what nightmares are made of.”
Never Change! gets its streaming premiere on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ on June 17, 2026 following its world premiere debut at the Tribeca Film Festival.
John Reynolds wrote the screenplay and Marty Schousboe directed the comedy. Nicholas Hatton, Jason Woliner, Jon Watts, Jeremy Garelick, Will Phelps, Billy Rosenberg, and Jason Zaro served as producers, with Molle DeBartolo executive producing.
