‘Night School’ Trailer #2: Tiffany Haddish Rules the School

Kevin Hart stars as a night school student who seems to be incapable of passing the GED exam in the new trailer for Night School. Tiffany Haddish stars as the night school teacher who diagnoses Hart’s character with incurable clinical dumbness.

Malcolm D. Lee directed from a script by Kevin Hart, Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, Matt Kellard, Nicholas Stoller, and John Hamburg. Director Lee also worked with Tiffany Haddish on the critically acclaimed 2017 comedy, Girls Trip. His credits also include Barbershop: The Next Cut, The Best Man Holiday, Scary Movie 5, Soul Men, and Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins.

In addition to Kevin Hart (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) and Tiffany Haddish (If Loving You is Wrong), the cast includes Rob Riggle (12 Strong), Taran Killam (Saturday Night Live), Romany Malco (Think Like a Man Too), Anne Winters (13 Reasons Why), Mary Lynn Rajskub (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Megalyn Echikunwoke (Vixen, Damien), and Al Madrigal (I’m Dying Up Here).

Will Packer and Kevin Hart served as producers, with Malcolm D. Lee, Preston Holmes, and James Lopez executive producing.

Night School will be opening in theaters on September 28, 2018.

The Plot: Star Kevin Hart and producer Will Packer, who partnered for the hit Ride Along and Think Like a Man series, bring their signature style to Night School. The comedy from director Malcolm D. Lee (Girls Trip) follows a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in the longshot chance they’ll pass the GED exam.
