Prepare for ‘The Penguins of Madagascar’

The headline’s a bit ominous but there’s nothing scary about 20th Century Fox and DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming animated family-friendly, penguin-friendly comedy The Penguins of Madagascar. Although the spin-off from the successful Madagascar film series arrives in theaters closer to the winter holiday season, the studios have just released a new clip as well as poster from the animated film. Directed by Simon Smith and Eric Darnell, The Penguins of Madagascar features the voices of Tom McGrath, Chris Miller, Chris Knights, John Malkovich, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ken Jeong, Annett Mahendru, and Peter Stormare.

The Penguins of Madagascar opens on November 26, 2014.

The Plot:

Discover the secrets of the most entertaining and mysterious birds in the global espionage game: Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private now must join forces with the chic spy organization, the North Wind, led by Agent Classified (we could tell you his name, but then Š you know), voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch to stop the villainous Dr. Octavius Brine, voiced by John Malkovich, from taking over the world.
