‘Presence’ Trailer: Soderbergh’s Twisted Haunted House Tale

Multiple spooky projects picked Halloween to show off new photos and trailers, including Neon’s Presence. Directed by Steven Soderbergh from a screenplay by David Koepp, Presence‘s trailer shows the story is being told from a ghost’s point of view.

The cast features Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan, Callina Liang, Julia Fox, Eddy Maday, and West Mulholland. Koepp and Corey Bayes serve as executive producers. Soderbergh’s behind-the-scenes team includes production designer April Lasky, costume designer Marci Rodgers, and himself as editor and cinematographer.

Neon’s short and simple description reads: “A family moves into a suburban house and becomes convinced they’re not alone.”

Presence opens in theaters on January 17, 2025.
