Priscilla Presley and Sofia Coppola Discuss ‘Priscilla’

In the new one-minute behind the scenes featurette from A24’s Priscilla, filmmaker Sofia Coppola explains that when she read Priscilla’s memoir, she was struck with what an unusual wild ride her life has been. Yet even though it’s different from what most people experience, Coppola believes that Priscilla Presley’s life and struggles are relatable.

“I’ve seen all of her movies and her sensitivity, her understanding of women – she puts her heart and soul in it,” says Priscilla Presley, adding, “I would never do this with anyone else.”

Priscilla‘s based on the bestselling memoir Elvis and Me, and was adapted and directed by Coppola. Cailee Spaeny (Mare of Easttown, Devs) transforms into Priscilla Presley and Jacob Elordi (Euphoria, The Kissing Booth) stars as the King of Rock and Roll.

Priscilla will open in theaters on November 3, 2023.
