Robert Pattinson’s packed 2026 continues with Primetime, which just dropped its first teaser. Pattinson channels Dateline‘s Chris Hansen, the host of the hugely controversial To Catch a Predator. The one-minute teaser features Pattinson, sounding just like Hansen, asking an unseen suspected predator, “What would have happened if I wasn’t here? You see how this looks, right?”
Pattinson as Hansen adds, “At the end of the day, a man must be held accountable for the decisions that he makes. Would you agree?”
In addition to Pattinson, the cast includes Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Matthew Maher, Phoebe Bridgers, and Bokeem Woodbine. Acclaimed documentarian Lance Oppenheim makes his narrative feature film directorial debut with Primetime, which A24 describes this way: “In 2006, To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen sets out to make television history.”
Pattinson began his conquest of 2026 with The Drama, opposite Zendaya. Up next is Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey in July, and Dune: Part Three opens in theaters on December 18, 2026. A24 will launch Primetime this fall.
