A wild weekend turns into a murder cover-up in Sony Pictures’ comedy, Rough Night. The new restricted (not safe for work or kids) trailer sets up the tale of a weekend reunion for five college friends played by Scarlett Johansson, Zoë Kravitz, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, and Ilana Glazer. First time feature film director Lucia Aniello co-wrote the script with Paul W. Downs (Downs also co-stars in the film). Sony’s planning a June 16, 2017 theatrical release.
The Plot: In Rough Night, an edgy R-rated comedy, five best friends from college reunite 10 years later for a wild bachelorette weekend in Miami. Their hard partying takes a hilariously dark turn when they accidentally kill a male stripper. Amidst the craziness of trying to cover it up, they’re ultimately brought closer together when it matters most.
