Hopefully, the NC-17 rating won’t discourage audiences from checking out Shame or discourage Academy voters from considering this film for year-end honors. This latest US trailer further proves why Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan are considered to be such powerful performers and are so in demand for films.
The Plot:
Brandon (Michael Fassbender) is a 30-something man living in New York who is unable to manage his sex life. After his wayward younger sister (Carey Mulligan) moves into his apartment, Brandon’s world spirals out of control.
