Potential ticket buyers are sounding off in Disney’s Snow White trailer comments section, and for once it appears they’re solidly on the side of the Evil Queen. The nearly three-minute trailer provides the first real look at the seven dwarfs interacting with Snow White (the comments aren’t kind) and also features a snippet from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul’s new song, “Waiting on a Wish.”
The live-action version of the classic fairy tale stars Rachel Zegler (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) as the titular character. Gal Gadot plays the Evil Queen who goes to extreme lengths to claim the “fairest of them all” title.
Disney offered this description of the live-action adaptation: “Disney’s Snow White is a live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film. The magical music adventure journeys back to the timeless story with beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy.”
Disney’s set a March 21, 2025 theatrical premiere.
