The first full-length trailer for Universal Pictures’ Steve Jobs has arrived, showcasing Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender in the title role. The film was directed by Oscar winner Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) from a script by Oscar winner Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network), with Oscar winner Kate Winslet as former Macintosh marketing chief Joanna Hoffman. Jeff Daniels plays former Apple CEO John Sculley and Seth Rogen is Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in the dramatic biopic based on Walter Isaacson’s biography of Jobs.
Universal’s aiming for an October 9, 2015 theatrical release.
The Plot:
Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.
