The teaser trailer for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Strange World has a real retro vibe. The minute and a half teaser begins with a ’50s sci-fi-style intro that warns viewers to prepare themselves for a journey beyond what is possible.
Thus far, Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain) is the only voice cast member confirmed for the sci-fi adventure. Big Hero 6 and Raya and the Last Dragon‘s Don Hall directed, with Qui Nguyen co-directing and writing.
Disney’s targeting a November 23, 2022 release.
