Michelle Williams is following up her Oscar-nominated turn as Marilyn Monroe in My Week with Marilyn with Take This Waltz, written and directed by Sarah Polley. Joining Williams in the romantic drama are Seth Rogen, Luke Kirby, and Sarah Silverman, with Magnolia Pictures planning a May 25th release on Video on Demand followed by a June 29, 2012 theatrical release.
The Plot:
When Margot (Michelle Williams), 28, meets Daniel (Luke Kirby), their chemistry is intense and immediate. But Margot suppresses her sudden attraction; she is happily married to Lou (Seth Rogen), a cookbook writer. When she learns that Daniel lives across the street from them, the certainty about her domestic life shatters. She and Daniel steal moments throughout the steaming Toronto summer, their eroticism heightened by their restraint.
