The TMNTs discuss what their lives would be like if they weren’t shunned by the world and considered monsters in the new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. So, how do they plan on changing the way they’re viewed by society? By taking down the notorious Superfly.
Micah Abbey voices Donatello, Nicolas Cantu is Leonardo, Brady Noon is Raphael, and Shamon Brown Jr. is Michelangelo. Jackie Chan provides the voice of Splinter, Ice Cube is Superfly, Ayo Edebiri is April, Seth Rogen is Bebop, and Rose Byrne (currently seen opposite Rogen Apple TV+’s Platonic) is Leatherhead. Additional voice cast members include Hannibal Buress, John Cena, Natasia Demetriou, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, Paul Rudd, and Maya Rudolph.
Jeff Rowe (co-director of The Mitchells vs the Machines) and Kyler Spears direct the latest Turtles movie. Rowe, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Dan Hernandez, and Benji Samit wrote the screenplay, with Rogen, Goldberg, and James Weaver producing.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will open in theaters on August 2, 2023.
The plot, courtesy of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies: “After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”
