Gotham‘s young breakout star David Mazouz plays a kid who sneaks a relic from the Grand Canyon home after a camping trip which opens the door to otherworldly activity in The Darkness‘ new trailer. Co-written and directed by Wolf Creek‘s Greg McLean, The Darkness also stars Kevin Bacon, Radha Mitchell, Lucy Fry, Matt Walsh, and Jennifer Morrison. The Darkness opens in theaters on Friday, May 13, 2016.
The Plot: As a family returns home from vacation at the Grand Canyon, they innocently bring home a supernatural force that preys off their own fears and vulnerabilities, threatening to destroy them from within, while consuming their lives with terrifying consequences.
