Lionsgate’s debuted an emotionally moving first trailer for the dramatic film, The Glass Castle, starring Brie Larson (Room, Kong: Skull Island). The film’s based on Jeannette Walls’ critically acclaimed memoir and was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Short Term 12). Cretton and Andrew Lanham adapted Walls’ memoir for the screen, and Naomi Watts, Woody Harrelson, Sarah Snook, Max Greenfield, and Iain Armitage co-star in the PG-13 rated film. Lionsgate’s planning an August 11, 2017 theatrical release.

The Plot: Chronicling the adventures of an eccentric, resilient and tight-knit family, The Glass Castle is a remarkable story of unconditional love. Oscar® winner Brie Larson brings Walls’ best-selling memoir to life as a young woman who, influenced by the joyfully wild nature of her deeply dysfunctional father (Harrelson), found the fiery determination to carve out a successful life on her own terms.
