Robert De Niro plays a senior citizen who winds up interning at a company run by Anne Hathaway in The Intern, and Warner Bros has just released the first trailer for the dramedy. Written and directed by Nancy Meyers (It’s Complicated, Something’s Gotta Give, Private Benjamin), the cast also includes Rene Russo, Anders Holm, Andrew Rannells, Adam Devine, Celia Weston, Nat Wolff, Linda Lavin, Zack Pearlman, Jason Orley, and Christina Scherer.
The Intern opens in theaters on September 25, 2015.
The Plot:
In The Intern, De Niro stars as Ben Whittaker, a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Hathaway).
