‘The Killer’s Game’ Trailer: Dave Bautista Plays a Hitman With an Unusual Request

Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Drax and Mantis – Dave Bautista and Pom Klementieff – reunite for Lionsgate’s The Killer’s Game. The official trailer for the action comedy shows Bautista, a paid assassin, hiring Klementieff to kill him after learning he’s going to die soon anyway.

In addition to Bautista and Klementieff, the action thriller stars Sofia Boutella, Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, and Ben Kingsley. Rand Ravich and James Coyne adapted Jay R. Bonansinga’s 1997 novel and JJ Perry (Day Shift) directs.

“In the new action-comedy The Killer’s Game, when top hitman Joe Flood (Dave Bautista) is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides to take matters into his own hands – by taking a hit out on himself,” reads Lionsgate’s synopsis. “But when the very hitmen he hired also target his ex-girlfriend (Sofia Boutella), he must fend off an army of assassin colleagues and win back the love of his life before it’s too late.”

Andrew Lazar, Steve Richards, and Kia Jam serve as producers. Jonathan Meisner, Dave Bautista, Chris Milburn, Thane Watkins, Peter E. Strauss, Scott Lambert, Dean Altit, and Adam Fields executive produce.
