Mad Men‘s Elisabeth Moss stars in author Charlie McDowell’s feature film directorial debut, The One I Love, which has just debuted a new trailer and theatrical poster. Justin Lader wrote the screenplay and Mark Duplass co-stars and executive produces the comedy coming to VOD on August 1, 2014 followed by a theatrical release on August 22nd.
The Plot:
On the brink of separation, Ethan (Duplass) and Sophie (Moss) escape to a beautiful vacation house for a weekend getaway in an attempt to save their marriage. What begins as a romantic and fun retreat soon becomes surreal, when an unexpected discovery forces the two to examine themselves, their relationship, and their future.
