Kate Beckinsale, Divergent‘s Theo James, Damien‘s Bradley James, and Outlander‘s Tobias Menzies star in the latest trailer for Underworld: Blood Wars. The fifth film of the Underworld franchise has Beckinsale back in the lead role as Selene he Vampire death dealer, a role she first took on in 2003’s Underworld. Underworld: Blood Wars was directed by Anna Foerster and will open in theaters on January 6, 2017.
The Plot: Underworld: Blood Wars follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (James) and his father Thomas (Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.
