Zach Braff Shows Off a New ‘Wish I Was Here’ Trailer

Zach Braff and Joey King in 'Wish I Was Here'

Zach Braff’s Kickstarter-funded comedy Wish I Was Here is heading to theaters in LA and New York on July 18, 2014 with more cities added on July 25 and continuing through August. Wish I Was Here is Braff’s second film as director and it comes 10 years after his feature film directorial debut, Garden State, but the official trailer shows even a decade later he’s still into indie music and angst-filled stories.

In addition to writer/director Braff, the cast includes Kate Hudson, Mandy Patinkin, Josh Gad, Joey King, and Pierce Gagnon.

The Plot:

The new movie from director Zach Braff tells a funny, touching, universal story of what it means to be at a major crossroads as a parent, spouse, and child — all at once.
