In a year dominated by female country music artists, Ella Langley emerged as the big winner at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards. Langley earned seven ACM Awards, setting a new record for the most wins by a single artist.
Langley’s wins came in the Female Artist of the Year, Artist-Songwriter of the Year, Single of the Year (awarded to her as both the artist and producer for “Choosin’ Texas”), Song of the Year (awarded as both artist and songwriter), and Music Event of the Year (alongside Riley Green for “Don’t Mind If I Do”). Cody Johnson, Stephen Wilson Jr., and Miranda Lambert each followed Langley with two wins.
