Are you ready, ARMY? BTS fans are about to get weekly doses of Jungkook and Jimin on the road in Are You Sure?! Disney+ will release the travel reality show exclusively on the streamer beginning August 8, 2024.
Shot in 2023, Disney+’s Are You Sure?! follows Jimin and Jungkook as they travel around New York, South Korea’s Jeju Island, and Sapporo, Japan. The duo enjoys fun in the sun on the ocean and in the snow at a ski resort. Fans get to see Jimin and Jungkook relaxing while taking in the sights as they explore the three different regions of the world.
As described by HYBE: “The first-ever travel reality show for the duo, Are You Sure?! will give a deeper look into Jimin and Jungkook’s undeniable chemistry and endearing friendship as they bond over a variety of unforgettable moments throughout the trip immersing in different cultures, exploring various action-packed activities, and trying out local cuisines.”
The eight-episode season gives BTS fans a behind-the-scenes look as they “eat, shop, cook, camp, canoe, swim and road trip together.”
New episodes will be released every Thursday through September 19th.
In 2022, Disney+ and HYBE announced they were teaming up on future projects featuring the members of BTS. The projects included docuseries as well as their incredible Permission to Dance on Stage concert film shot during their sold-out LA concert in 2021.
Although six out of seven BTS members are currently serving their mandatory military service for South Korea (Jin has completed his service and was discharged on June 12), the group made sure to film and record plenty of content and music before heading off to the military. The recordings included solo projects and projects featuring the group.
