FreeSol’s new single, “Fascinated” featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, will drop on November 15, 2011. The hip-hop/rock/soul group, based in Memphis, teamed up with producers Timbaland and Jerome “Jay Rock” Harmon for their new track.
“Not only has it been an honor to work with Justin, but it has also been a learning experience you couldn’t buy,” said FreeSol Anderson in the press release. “Musically, we want to cross all the boundaries and lines that make up musical genres and hopefully remove them forever. That is our intention.”

FreeSol, which is FreeSol Anderson (vocals/lyrics), Kickman (drums), E. Ives (guitar/vocals), Mo D’Anger (keyboards), and DJ Charlie White, formed in 2003 when rapper FreeSol Anderson decided to move beyond the basic “two turntables and a microphone” hip-hop formula. The band had already developed a massive regional buzz in the South before being discovered by another Memphis native, Justin Timberlake, who saw them perform, and signed them to his label Tennman Records. Timbaland, Jim Jonsin, Mike Elizondo, Printz Board, Dave Tozer, Greg Gordon, and The Y’s also add production to No Rules out in 2012.
