NBC’s set an August 19, 2025 premiere date for Songs & Stories with Kelly Clarkson, a music-driven primetime special. The four-part event will kick off with an episode focusing on the Jonas Brothers. Gloria Estefan is featured in part two, airing August 26. Teddy Swims is the subject of part three, premiering on September 2. The special finishes up with Lizzo on September 9.
“Every song’s got a story, and this special gives us a chance to hear what’s behind the music straight from the artists who lived it. Getting to share the stage with them and hear about the moments that shaped their paths—and where they’re headed next—is pretty special,” said Kelly Clarkson.
The special is adapted from The Kelly Clarkson Show‘s “Songs & Stories” segment. Per NBC, each hour-long episode “offers an extended platform for fans to experience each artist like never before. Each artist’s selection of songs from their own catalogues are performed collaboratively and acoustically with Kelly Clarkson and members of her band.”
Clarkson serves as an executive producer along with Alex Duda and Kareen Gunning.
