Lea Michele Releases Her Cory Monteith Tribute Song

Lea Michele LouderSinger/actress Lea Michele has unveiled “You’re Mine,” a tribute to her late boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith. The track is an emotionally charged song off of her first solo album, Louder, and on February 10th Michele tweeted the news of the song’s release and told her fans that it’s her favorite single off of the upcoming album. “It’s so special to me & it’s story is so close to my heart,” tweeted Michele.

The album was pretty much done by the time Monteith died in July from a drug overdose, but Michele was asked if she wanted to add anything to it. Michele told Elle magazine, “I was like, ‘I might regret it if I don’t.'”

“It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think if him, I play this,” said Michele in her Elle interview back in December 2013.
