Michael Jackson’s “Slave to the Rhythm” – One of Billboard Music Awards’ Most Talked About Performances

It was freaky and weird (and kind of creepy, truth be told), but the highly anticipated performance by a hologram version of Michael Jackson was also one of the most discussed performances from the 2014 Billboard Music Awards. Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009 but, thanks to technology, he was able to take the stage to perform “Slave to the Rhythm” during the May 18th awards show.

“Slave to the Rhythm” is one of the tracks off of the posthumous Michael Jackson album Xscape which was just released earlier this month and includes “Love Never Felt So Good” with Justin Timberlake.
