12 acts will be returning to compete for a spot in the Top 24 this week on America’s Got Talent. Airing on August 21st, the ‘Wildcard’ show will find 12 eliminated acts selected by judges Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel getting a shot at rejoining the competition. Howard’s chosen Ben Blaque, Horse, Spencer Horsman, and Todd Oliver & Irving. All That!, Bandbaz Brothers, Jake Wesley Rodgers and Lindsey Norton were selected by Sharon Osbourne to return for another shot at fame. And Howie showed Andrew De Leon, Jarrett & Raja, Sebastian El Charro and Cristin Sandu some love by naming them as his four favorite eliminated acts.

Of the 12 returning acts, four will make it to the Semi Finals for a shot at winning $1 million.

Joked Stern, “How we going to end this season? Every time the audience gets rid of somebody we bring them back. It’s like Godfather 3… just one too many.”

“This year has had such a great amount of talent that with only 4 choices allowed per show, deserving acts got let go. I believe America will be happy to see my choices get a second chance,” added Judge Howie Mandel.

The live results show on August 22nd at 9pm will include a performance by Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen of their summer hit single, Good Time. In addition, Bring It On: The Musical will perform.
