Girl-group Wilson Phillips will give their fans an inside look into their lives with a new reality show on TV Guide Network. After taking some time off to be with their families, sisters Carnie Wilson and Wendy Wilson and best friend Chynna Phillips are on the comeback trail, recently appearing in the hit summer R-rated comedy Bridesmaids.
Chynna’s also set to compete on the 2011 season of Dancing with the Stars while Carnie’s a judge on Karaoke Battle USA.
The pilot will debut on TV Guide Network sometime later this year.
“Wilson Phillips is extremely excited to start a reality show following the reunion of the girls and what it’s like 21 years later,” stated Carnie Wilson in the press release announcing the upcoming show. “Between touring, recording a new CD and raising nine children, the show promises love, laughter and head bumping!”
“Our original programming is bringing fans closer to their favorite celebrities, and our new show with Wilson Phillips underscores this commitment,” said Allen Shapiro, Chairman of TV Guide Network.
