The Country super-couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert won Male and Female Vocalist of the Year at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards held April 1, 2012 in Las Vegas. This was Shelton’s first win and Lambert’s third consecutive win in that category, with Lambert also taking home the Album of the Year honors. With the win Lambert became the first female to have three consecutive Album of the Year wins.
Also having a big night at the star-studded awards show was Taylor Swift who earned the Entertainer of the Year award for the second year running.
Blake Shelton and Reba hosted the event which was held at the MGM Grand in Vegas.
