2012 Emmy Award Nominees Announced

The Cast of Mad Men

Jimmy Kimmel (in pajamas) and Kerry Washington (Scandal) had the honor of revealing the nominees in major categories for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards, revealing a list that was more interesting for its snubs than its nominees. Hugh Laurie and Kyra Sedgwick didn’t feel any Emmy love in their final seasons, Sons of Anarchy was completely left out, Betty White earned a host nomination over Survivor‘s Jeff Probst, and Game of Thrones was robbed in the acting categories.

American Horror Story, which was bizarrely nominated in the mini-series category, tied with Mad Men for the most nominations at 17 each.
