Big Bang Theory Tops the Critics’ Choice Awards Winners List

Critics Choice Television Awards LogoThe Big Bang Theory walked away the big winner at the 3rd Annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards held on June 10, 2013 in Los Angeles. The popular comedy series earned five awards including the Best Comedy Series title, beating out Louie, The Middle, New Girl, Parks and Recreation, and Veep. Meanwhile it was HBO that wound up the award show’s most honored network, picking up five trophies for Game of Thrones, Veep, The Newsroom, and Behind the Candelabra.
 
Members of the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) also honored Bob Newhart with the Critics’ Choice Television Icon Award, and Henry Winkler presented the award to the legendary comedian.
