A new hour-long game show has just been added to ABC Family’s summer slate. The network says they’re moving forward with Spell-Mageddon, a competition in which contestants compete to spell “increasingly challenging words” while taking on “hilarious distractions.” The series is set to debut on July 24, 2013 at 9pm after Melissa and Joey and Baby Daddy.
Spell-Mageddon is executive produced by Jeff Krask and Michael Canter. It was created by Adam Reed, Adam Freeman and Leslie Greif of Thinkfactory Media who are also on board as executive producers.
