Adam Levine Set to Receive President’s Award

Broadcast Music, Inc (BMI) has named Maroon 5’s lead singer Adam Levine as the winner of their prestigious President’s Award. The award will be given to Levine at BMI’s 61st Annual Pop Awards on May 14, 2013 in Beverly Hills.
 
The annual gala recognizes songwriters and publishers of the year’s biggest pop songs. Levine will be honored at the black-tie event for his “outstanding achievement in songwriting and his global impact on pop culture and the entertainment industry.”
 
This year’s guests will include Maroon 5’s James Valentine, Chris Daughtry, Gavin Degraw, Colbie Caillat, RedOne, Hot Chelle Rae’s Ryan Keith Follese & Nash Overstreet, and Christina Perri.
