Discovery Channel’s debuting the new reality series Airplane Repo on July 11, 2013 at 10pm. The 10-episode one-hour show will feature repossession experts who deal with airplane owners behind on their payments (which is pretty much what you’d assume from the series’ title). According to Discovery, Airplane Repo will follow three repo teams as they attempt to repossess luxury planes – and yachts – while dodging violent altercations.

Mike Kennedy – Known as the “lone wolf” of luxury repos, Mike implements some of the industry’s most innovative, yet riskiest methods to reach his target planes, including snow machines, scuba gear and parachuting equipment. His high-risk interests do not end there as his other day job includes rescuing tigers, cobras and other exotic animals.

Kevin Lacey – Kevin, a smooth-talking Texan, has been in the business for over 40 years with over 450 repos around the globe. From Africa to Brazil, Kevin’s jobs have provided him multi-million dollar rewards, but without numerous run-ins with the law and other hair-raising situations. Luckily, Kevin’s best friend and “repo” partner, Gary Cobb, helps Kevin out of some of the tightest situations.

Ken Cage – This family man and CEO of International Recovery Group (IRG) has successfully completed over 1,200 repossessions ranging from planes to construction equipment. Facing more extreme confrontations with each job including conflicts at gunpoint and nearly run over by a car, Ken hired former bounty hunter and MMA fighter Danny Thompson to add some muscle behind his “repos.”
