‘American Idol XIV’ Will Have Familiar Faces on the Judging Panel

Fox has confirmed this season’s American Idol judges are all signed up to return for American Idol XIV. Harry Connick Jr, Jennifer Lopez, and Keith Urban have all committed to sticking around to give praise and constructive criticism to contestants on the upcoming season of the singing competition. Also hanging around for yet another season (his 14th) will be host Ryan Seacrest.

“Jennifer, Keith, Harry and Ryan are the very best in the business at what they do, and I’m thrilled that they are returning to American Idol for another season. Each brings unique qualities and expertise to the team, but they all share the same passion for helping undiscovered singers achieve the American dream,” stated David Hill, Senior Executive Vice President, 21st Century Fox.

“I am thrilled our consummate host, Mr. Ryan Seacrest, is returning for Season 14, together with Jennifer, Harry and Keith,” added American Idol creator/executive producer Simon Fuller. “Their interaction, warmth and experience made them an absolute joy to watch. I can’t wait to see their evolution together continue next season.”

In other American Idol XIV news, auditions are underway for the new season. The upcoming audition cities include:
– New Orleans, LA on June 25th
– Uniondale, NY on Wednesday, July 23
– Nashville, TN on Wednesday, July 30
– San Francisco, CA on Monday, Sept. 29

In addition, the AI bicoastal bus tour will kick off in Portland, ME on July 9th, allowing potential AI singers to show off their talent during one of the tour stops.
