Is that old painting stuffed away in your garage worth a million dollars? If you’re in Boston or Seattle, it might be worth your while to lug it down to the Antiques Roadshow tour stop and find out.
One of the most addictive shows on television, PBS’ Antiques Roadshow has just announced the tour dates and location for the summer of 2012. The summer tour stops will be broadcast on PBS during 2013.
“Antiques Roadshow turns seventeen in 2013,” stated executive producer Marsha Bemko in the tour announcement, “and even though Justin Bieber beat us to it, we couldn’t be more excited or grateful for having reached this milestone. We’ll be inviting almost 40,000 fans to celebrate with us this summer as we travel across the country.”

While admission is free, you must obtain a ticket in advance. Per PBS, “ticket applications must be received by April 16, 2012. Tickets will be awarded by random drawing.”
