Bake Off Comes to America

The British series The Great British Bake-Off will be baking up new treats as CBS is bringing the show to American audiences. CBS has given the greenlight to Bake Off (working title), a US version of the hit cooking series in which American amateur cooks will be competing against each other in different baking challenges.
 
According to CBS, The Great British Bake-Off‘s third season finale was one of the “highest-rated BBC2 originated shows in the last six years.” The show set a series high, picking up a 25.3% share among British viewers.
 
In addition to British audiences, the series has caught on in Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, and Poland.
