HBO’s Ballers returns for its fourth season on August 12, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT. Season four, which will consist of nine half-hour episodes, finds Dwayne Johnson once more tackling the role of ex-NFL star Spencer Strasmore who turned his attention to financial management after retiring.

HBO’s just released details on the upcoming fourth season along with August episode descriptions and air dates.

In addition to Dwayne Johnson, the cast includes John David Washington, Rob Corddry, Omar Benson Miller, Donovan Carter, Troy Garity, London Brown, and Brittany S. Hall. Carl McDowell, Jazmyn Simon, Robert Wisdom, Richard Schiff and Steven Weber will return as guest stars.

The Season 4 Plot: After refusing to compromise his principles by joining an alliance with the filthy-rich Anderson brothers to move a football franchise to Las Vegas, Spencer and his partner Joe set out to expand their foothold in the client-management business, weighing an opportunity to purchase an extreme-sports LA outfit.

Meanwhile, Ricky eyes a comeback while chafing at his new life as a father; Charles faces the challenges of being a general manager; Vernon continues his profligate ways, to the chagrin of his sidekick, Reggie; and Jason tries to set Spencer up with a high-school prodigy, Quincy Crawford, and his equally impressive mother, Jayda.
